The Long Island Young Musicians' Collective presents: Virtual Concert 2020
Time & Location
About the Event
After countless performance opportunities have been postponed or canceled in light of the circumstances surrounding the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, the Long Island Young Musicians' Collective was founded by South Side High School senior Tommy Kelly, as a means of bringing students together musically. The virtual concert was conceptualized to give these students a performance opportunity that paid tribute to the cancelled plays, musicals, concerts, recitals, and gigs that never saw the light of the stage. With almost forty students involved in this initial project from all over Nassau and Suffolk County, Tommy couldn’t be prouder to have helmed such an ambitious, passion-filled project! Singers, songwriters, entertainers, percussionists, pianists, a virtual choral trio, and even a one-man saxophone quartet are among the many talents showcased in a milestone concert that is sure to bring a smile on the faces of many Long Islanders.
