Dave is trying to win the girl of his dreams, Jane, by agreeing to whatever she wants to do. Jane happens to be an adrenaline junkie and wants to go on the biggest rollercoaster in the theme park. Dave happens to be terrified of heights. For Jane, this is a fun day out at the carnival with a friend - she could have gone with anyone. For Dave, this is his one shot to get the girl and prove that he can be brave despite the fears that he hides.
