Check out some of Jack’s original music theater songs on September 25th. He will be playing Breaking Sound at the Pink Frog Cafe in Brooklyn. He is among other talented artists (Asher Shectman, Tim Rosko, and George Luton & Emily Drossell) who will be showcasing original work that night. His slot will be a 45-minute set starting at 7:15 PM, and it will include songs from his sci-fi musical, Athanasia, as well as standalones and other thrilling songs that are part of his musicals in development. This performance will feature Jack on the piano with multiple guest singers, including Elena Farley, Katie Nieto, Ryan Jacobs, Jalen Bunch, and more.

Jack’s is honored to be joining the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop in NYC as a composer. The over-60-year-old program has been a part of the lives of many admirable Broadway theater creators, including Lynn Ahrens, Alan Menken, Maury Yeston, Michael John LaChiusa, Tom Kitt, Andrew Lippa, Jeanine Tesori, and many others.

Jack’s staged reading of their original musical:

The songs of Jack’s sci-fi musical, Athanasia were performed this past August at The Green Room 42; featuring a fantastic 5-piece band led by music director, Henry Roseman.

This summer, Jack completed a Music Direction internship at the esteemed Municipal Theatre of St Louis (The Muny).

Jack was recently part of this year’s Write Out Loud concert, which spotlights new musical theater writers. His song “Talk to Her” was chosen in the songwriting contest and performed by Danny Quadrino at the 54 Below concert on Monday, September 15th at 7:00 PM!
